Remote working has been a challenge for many young people this year and has impacted opportunities for career development and networking. As a committee, we are proud to have delivered a programme of webinars, podcasts and blogs to help support and engage with the City’s NextGen community. You can see a number of our highlights in our 2020 summary video.
In 2021, we will be continuing with our virtual programme, including a new series of videos that will shine a light on examples of best practice within our sector. The series will look at a range of topics, from sustainability and community engagement, to planning and design. We’re also excited to continue our work on promoting diversity, equality and inclusion. A series of best practice guides, produced in collaboration with the WPA NextGen committee, will be published throughout 2021.
