We were pleased to welcome over 150 members and stakeholders to our AGM Reception at 70 St Mary Axe on Tuesday 25 April, hosted by Nuveen.
CPA Chair Gareth Roberts British Land, Head of Broadgate Developments, outlined the CPA’s research and campaign priorities for 2023/24 as well as giving an overview of ‘the Visualising Destination City’ interactive map and the exciting public realm and pedestrian projects in the pipeline.
Members also heard from keynote speaker Sharon Ament, Director of the Museum of London, on the vision for the London Museum both past, present, and future, and the exciting developments to help it to become a truly 24-hour destination. Sharon provided a glimpse of the new plans at the historic Smithfield Market that will provide world-leading public realm and amenities.
The evening was closed by our newly elected Vice Chair Ilna Patel (Director, Nuveen, a TIAA company) whose closing remarks highlighted the ongoing work of the CPA in championing the Square Mile.
