The City Property Association (CPA) has submitted additional representations ahead of the Examination in Public (EiP) of the City of London Corporation’s draft City Plan 2040 in addition to requesting to participate in all the City Plan 2040 hearing sessions.
In our Further Matters Statements, we have welcomed Part (2) of the Spatial Strategy, which states that office growth will be encouraged in all parts of the Square Mile. However, we propose that Policy S4 should plan for a target of 1.9m sqm net additional office floorspace by 2042 and that Policy AT3(1) is amended to adopt the recommendations of our Cycling & the City report.
