“It has been a pleasure to be a part of the leadership team for the CPA NextGen committee through what has been a very busy year. Alongside continuing to represent young industry professionals in the City, the committee’s work has been guided by three priorities: supporting the City Corporation’s Destination City vision, promoting D,E&I in the City and an increasing focus on sustainability.
“The committee has continued its fantastic Diversifying Real Estate guidebook series and an informative programme of events. We were fortunate enough to have the Cabinet Member for Young People & Culture at Camden Council, Cllr Sabrina Francis give a keynote speech at our amazing summer reception, hosted by G&T. Another personal highlight was Peter Kemp’s (Head of Change and Delivery, Planning at the GLA) fantastic presentation at our Digital Planning Revolution seminar. The event also featured Alastair Moss, former Chairman of Planning & Transportation at the City of London Corporation.
“I look forward to a successful 2024 for the committee as it pursues new workstreams including its next major research piece: a collaborative project with the WPA NextGen to explore the growing role of AI in the industry.
