We welcomed 156 members and stakeholders to Riverscape on Wednesday evening for our Autumn Reception.
Guests enjoyed spectacular views of the Thames and across Central London from the roof terrace of this recently refurbished commercial building on Queen Street Place.
Deputy Alastair Moss, Chair of the Transportation and Planning Committee at the City of London Corporation, gave the evening’s keynote speech touching on championing the City’s need to create sustainable growth, provide modern workspaces and tackle climate change.
Alastair stated “the changing demands of the work environment mean we need better buildings with a better mix of uses surrounded by a better leisure, cultural, wellness or retail offer. This all means we can’t stand still. We need to work together and be more ambitious for the City to improve its offer.”
Dan Gaunt, Partner at Knight Frank and CPA Board Member, gave the closing address, talking members through the process of transforming Riverscape, which is now fully let, into it’s modern state and London’s resilience as a global city.
