CPA was once again delighted to support LREF, a leading conference for London’s real estate industry. This year’s symposium on Berkeley Square including briefings on ONECITY: the new initiative between the City of London and CPA which promotes the arts, culture and leisure offer of the Square Mile to a younger audience.
The conference also included a dedicated discussion panel on development in the City of London, Chaired by CPA Vice President David Ainsworth. The panel comprised fellow Board Member Kaela Fenn-Smith (Head of Commercial at Landsec); Alastair Moss, Deputy Chairman of the City’s Planning & Transportation Committee; Gerald Kaye from Helical; James Goldsmith from AXA AM; and Vicky Fowler from Gowling WLG.
The panel discussed how the City is adapting to changes in the property market, attracting new occupiers and tech talent with exciting new retail and cultural uses, as well as more flexible leases.
